Altough it's possible to use EBT on smartphones or ipods, there must be an app in the app store and the android market. It would help to make EBT more famous if people would see it in the app store, maybe the no. 1 for free.

Open a group at facebook to become more famous. With likes you will soon reach more people. I just found this page looking up sth about coins, but I think this could also interest people that do not collect coins.

on the ranking pages you can see the number of notes entered in a city or municipality.
is it possible to add an extra field with your own numbers of notes ? so we can compare easily our own stats with the global stats. (and we can easily see which cities we still need to visit)

Users will getting the chance to upload an image of the bill they're registering.
First of all you'll guess this would need a lot of webspace, however there are already projects for this. For example "postcrossing.com" is using amazon web services for images.

Not everytime you have the chance to track a bill on the eurobilltracker-website. For example in a situation without internet. That's why i think it would be nice to add a field on the "new bill"-page, in which you can set/change the correct date and time of your track.

How to visualize: Using a image which shows the positions on the printing plate. Depending on the number of entities, the particular positions is getting darker.

For remembering particular accounts (for example of friends), I want to propose a tool in which you are able to organize your "contacts". This could be a simple list or also a table..
The other account has to agree that it is one of your contacts, just like a "friend requiest" (like on geocaching.com).

-> I don't think it makes sense to add private message. Because my idea is to visualzie the contacts in a table, there should be also a column with the email-adress.

It says on (almost) all the bills that it they are from 2002. However, in year 2003 Jean-Claude Trichet became the new EZB president. Since then there are new signatures on the bills. These bills (i guess) were printed in the same year and so they aren't from year 2002 (although on the bild it says "2002").
I vote for a new selection menu in which you can choose the signature of the bill. Then on the summary page it shows the right year.

The "Finding postal codes" list of links (http://eurobilltracker.com/links/?command=2097152;tab=2) is enormously outdated, as I mentioned months ago on the forum (http://forum.eurobilltracker.com/viewtopic.php?p=852065#p852065). On that post of mine I give the correct update links for each and every broken link.

If I typed several bills into the lower field and send them to the upper input field wrong lines with forgotten blanks between two columns are not send without any comment. That's bad, because you must count every time then number of given bills to compare this number to the published bils

I live in a comparatively small town and have more or less regularly the case that I get a note I already registered. I get an error message telling me that I probably made a mistake.

My suggestion is just to remove that sentence that carries no infromation whatsoever anyway.

The advanced solution would be to load the serials of the note and highlight the coincidence which would make it clear to me that I got a note back.

Of course it is clear to me that these can't count as "hit".

The idea is to see all Cityprofiles or lower level region profiles of a selected region where I entered notes.

For example in Antwerpen (Belgium) I can see that it consists of 70 municipalities and 229 cities.
But I can only see that I entered 8424 notes in the province of Antwerpen.

I think it would be usefull to see which municipalities and which cities I have visited in Antwerpen. (for example)

The same goes for hits.

in many cases the hit ratio is influenced by ebters who take notes from one region (e.g. where they are on vacation) to another (e.g. where they live), where the probability for the notes to be re-entered is totally different. so the hit ratio of a profile depends on who entered notes there and where he/she released them again later. having a look only at the active hits could be very interesting and could make it easier to compare differents cities/regions/countries/users.

in order add bill even if I cannot use my pc (e.g. at bar, restaurant etc... a lot of more bills!) :)
