Just sending a newsletter to inactive users or 0-notes users remind them to insert notes again. More notes make easier to find an hit.

Since administrative divisions are now well implemented, what about detailed note maps -- notes by countries and then by sublevels by zooming in -- see for example http://www.meteoalarm.eu

we can now filter hits by country, by multiplicity and whether they are moderated or not, but not by value (I don't have many 200€ hits and in the masses of 5€ they are hard to find ;-)

It would give more accurate data when a user warned if he's making a mistake.
For instance when he is entering a note from 1050 Amsterdam Italy.

He should be warned: You might be making a mistake. Don't you mean 1050 Amsterdam The Netherlands. [Back] or [Continue anyway]

We have to work on user profiles.
I suggest to give all users a guestbook where you can write something to the other user.
Thus, people will come back more often ..

It would be nice to let users know about EBT App for mobile with an appropriate newsletter.

the maps which are shown with arrows are for bigger citys overload. the line connect the hitcity is useless.

The note report should have a new line, with information about the signature on the banknote. For example:

"[...]
This means the note was printed in ... for ... .
The note bears the signature of BCE governor Jean-Claude Trichet."

The governor name could eventually be made clickable, and link to a special EBT page with basic biographic info, a picture, and information about the period when the governor was in office (e.g. Trichet 2003-2011).

The title says it all. Transform the 'New notes' page into a Google Maps interface, click the map and pop-up a dialog which would allow to enter notes.

When right-clicking on Google Maps and selecting 'What's Here?', there are locations and postcode data which could be retrieved as well as accurate GPS coordinates. Couple that with a way to register locations with a custom name to bring them back later (as it's done now with top 10/last 10 locations).

I think it would be nice to see some rankings about hit ratio, both for users and locations (at every level). In this way we could easily see which user has the highest hit ratio for a country, for a city, or for this year or this month, and we could compare cities' and countries' hit ratio just with a rapid glance...

It easy to find lists of all cities in a region. It could be interesting to have a closed list of cities on eurozone's countries. This would avoid constantly wrong spelling, incomplete names, . . .
